I enjoy drawing and painting anything that moves, and quite a few that don't ... as long as the subject has bagfuls of character - Animal Portraits, People Portraits, Flowers, Trees, Farmyard machinery and the odd dustbin or two!
Much of my artwork originates from visits to local wildlife collections where I find many of the animals are keenly observing me while I am studying them.
Over the last 3 years I have taken part in exhibitions in London, Bulgaria, Mexico, Portugal, Italy and Spain. In September 2010 I exhibited my "On the Train" sketches at Open Studios in Walthamstow (A collection of drawings of wildlife made during short train journeys). Much to my delight my "Big Smile" print was selected by Prints for Peace Mexico for part of their 2010 Logo.
Since November 2011 I have been teaching introductory courses to Chinese Brush Painting and giving lectures, workshops and demonstrations to groups of enthusiasts.
During my spare time studies of wildlife continue with a vengeance with the aim to soon produce plenty of fresh work.
